What Do You Need to Fit Your Particular Wig?

An installation tutorial can be useful, but its shopping list may belong to a different cap from yours. Begin with the design you own rather than buying every product mentioned in a video.

Identify the construction

Check whether the piece is lace front, full lace or another construction and look at its actual fastenings. A category name does not prove that glue is required. Locate the care and fitting instructions before deciding which accessories you need.

Prepare a comfortable foundation

Arrange your own hair so the cap can sit evenly. Use only accessories that suit your needs and do not create pressure. A wig cap or band is not automatically comfortable for everyone. Practise the fit and check the nape and sides before adding styling products.

Plan removal at the same time

If an adhesive method is chosen, understand the safe removal process before application. Keep the correct instructions and do not substitute household glue or improvised removers. For glueless fitting, learn how to release the fastenings without dragging them through your hair. A manageable installation includes being able to take it off safely afterwards.
